Coaching
SDCSP is committed to working with club coaches in every sport. We feel club coaches are vitally important as we strive to increase particpation levels. The strategic focus of the SDCSP is not on providing direct financial assistance to clubs but to upskill coaches, administrators and leaders through the courses that we provide.
Courses that we run include; Sports First Aid, Volunteer Management, Turf Management, Code of Ethics (Child Protection in Sport), Coaching people with a Disability, club planning & development etc.
These courses enhance club coaches knowledge, assist administrators and leaders and help give them the skills to improve their club as much as they can. In addition they are all priced at a very reasonable level with a subvention of cost by the SDCSP.
