Youth
With a population of 34,358 between the age of 12-21 (from census 2006) South Dublin County has one of the largest percentages of young people in its community in the country. The regular cry from young people especially teenagers is that "there's nothing for us to do", however one of the biggest problems that we have identified is that often young people don't know where to find information on what to do.
Through our clubs and facilities database; we hope to at least fill one of these information gaps. For the first time in the county you can now get details on all sports clubs and facilities in the one location.
We will be regularly uploading information on sport/ recreational programmes and events that would be of interest to the youth sector and we also welcome information and suggestions from you that you think would be relevant to your community.
On our links page you will also see links to various local and national organisations that may be of interest to you. Please have some understanding though that we are predominantly focussed on sport/ physical activity so unfortunately there won't be links to the latest cinema or music reviews!
